England Squad.

As you may know England have a 'friendly' international against the Netherlands this wednesday, allthough the squad is a little suspect to say the least. Now im not saying that Fabio isn't a capable manager by any means but how Carlton Cole gets into the team is anyone's guess. Not only am i outstanded that Cole (Carlton that is, not Andy) retains his place in the squad. Not only is he not a brilliant striker to start with but, this a guess, but i suspect he's scored none in pre-season, which is what the squad must be picked on, current form. This is why Beckham is included as he is the only player to be currently playing in the league and the only one to have recently scored a free-kick against Barca i might add. Now if Carlton Cole hasn't produced the quality Capello thinks he does i have to beg the question...why isn't Micheal Owen in the squad? Having recently made his debut for Fergie's men he's scored a good 3 or 4 goals in as many matches, which is approximatley 3 or 4 goals more than Carlton Cole, even the least goal scoring striker ever Emile Heskey has shone in pre-season, rant over. The rest of the squad is pretty much as expected, with the addition of Ben Foster due to James' injury earlier in the week, the rest of the squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Foster, Green, Robinson.

Defenders : Johnson, Terry, Ferdinand, Cole, Upson, Bridge, Lescott.

Midfielders : Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard, Walcott, Wright-phillips, Milner, Young,
Carrick, Barry.
Forwards : Cole, Heskey, Rooney, Defoe.
